Through  observations of different sections of the International Space Station, Maayan  became aware of its distinct soundscape: the mechanical noises, the varying  acoustics and echoes between modules, and the sounds of the station’s human  occupants. The result is an album that documents the sounds of life aboard  the station while also serving as an audio tour for listeners on Earth. The  soundscapes in the album were assembled from several sources, including  recordings made on board the ISS, radio chatter between the Station and  various control centers, and sonified data from some of the scientific  experiments conducted on the ISS.
