Yaniv stood in line for the distribution of passports to space. His place in line was over a billion, and the estimated waiting time was measured in light years. He had more than enough time to reflect on our lives here on Earth in contrast to the promise that lies out there, far away in space, and on the gap between earthly reality and the celestial vision.

His comic dramatic monologue was written by his close friend and long time creative collaborator, Assaf Beiser, the creator and writer of The Jews Are Coming. Beiser speaks “Bitonian” fluently and knew how to articulate with precision the shared thoughts of the two of them.
